[jitsi-dev] Link in Browser doesn't open

#1

Hi,

... someone sent me a link via IM. The URL looks like an URL (blue, underlined) but clicking on it has no result. Neither does <Right click> and "Open in Browser" (which one BTW - there is no way to configure that - maybe the problem). I have to copy and paste.

I'm on Ubuntu 10.10

Kind Regards
Conrad

I can confirm this. :frowning:

I've found this issue on the tracker:
http://java.net/jira/browse/JITSI-720

Unfortunately, it is closed because the devs can't seem to reproduce it.

Yes there is. In Ubuntu, you can configure the default browser in:
'System' > 'Preferences' > 'Preferred Applications'.

By default, the default browser is Firefox. All applications should
open links with this default browser. (unless of course they deal with
links internally, for example other browsers.)
