[jitsi-dev] [libjitsi-commits] branch 'opus-2-channels' created

#1

Hello,

I am not sure exactly what happened here, but I don't think this branch was
supposed to be (re)created. When I originally created an 'opus-2-channels'
branch it was meant as a temporary branch, and when it wasn't needed
anymore, I removed it from github.

Was there anything else that needed to be done when removing the branch?
Anything that can prevent it from being accidentally created (I assume it
was not intentional, please CMIIW) later on?

Regards,
Boris

Hello Boris,

I think this is just an "email" issue. The "opus-2-channels" was removed with "d79447fab4e1daa2dc5363c188df64866d0be080" and git repository does not show any other reference to this branch since one month ago.

I do not know why commit "954e2f32b09d4cd821264e496d6e3a1677d20df8" generates all these duplicates from previous commit emails.

Regards,
Vincent

Hello,

Hello Boris,

I think this is just an "email" issue. The "opus-2-channels" was removed
with "d79447fab4e1daa2dc5363c188df64866d0be080" and git repository does
not show any other reference to this branch since one month ago.

I do not know why commit "954e2f32b09d4cd821264e496d6e3a1677d20df8"
generates all these duplicates from previous commit emails.

The branch is not supposed to show up at all in github. After I merged
it, I deleted it from both my local repo and github (IIRC I did a 'git
push origin --delete opus-2-channels', but I'm not quite sure). But it
shows up here:
https://github.com/jitsi/libjitsi/tree/opus-2-channels

I think you might have had it in your local repo and pushed it to github
accidentally along with your commit to master, which would explain the
emails. Do you think this is possible?

Regards,
Boris
