[jitsi-dev] JVB (libjitsi) OpenSSL offload / benchs

#1

Hi Lyubomir,

I've done some more benchs and using OpenSSL in CTR mode, encrypting 1
packet at a time,
we have a 6x speed improvement over current java implementation + JCE
provider (1 call per block).
We could also do the Mac part at the same time with even better speed.

Tests are here
https://github.com/champtar/AESTests

Also is AES-F8 mode used anywhere, it's optional and for UMTS data
according to RFC, so it's just a pile of unused code from what I understand
?

Any though?

Regards
Etienne
