[jitsi-dev] Joining chat room

#1

Hello,

Currently joining a chat room and opening the chat room window are in
separate threads. The result is that if we are trying to join a room and
the server returns an error we get a window with the chat and a window with
the error.

Is it a desired behavior? I think that it will be better if we show only
the chat window if joining is successful and only the error dialog if we
get an error.

Yana suggested to include in the chat room list dialog an indication to
show that we are connecting to the chat until we get the result from the
server and then to show the error message or open the chat window.

Currently it is possible to try to join to a room, if the joining fail you
don't see the error message and the chat window. But this is another issue.
It is caused by a null pointer exception and i'll fix it.

Regards,
Hristo.

Sounds good to me!

Cool
