[jitsi-dev] jitsimeet and xmpp server

#1

How to keep both xmpp and jitmeet running on same server since jitsi meet needs 2 options to be commented in prosody c2s_require_encryption = true, and s2s_secure_auth = false ? Thanks alot! John.

#2

I'm afraid I don't understand the question, I doubt JitMeet or Prosody
care whether they are running on the same server or not.

And can someone tell me why the tutorial at (1) says to comment those
two options out?

Regards,
Matthew

Hey Matthew,

that's an essential option to comment out both lines of jitmeet won't work. Try and see. In order to make my question more clear , what I'd like to have is a scenario like this on same server is running xmpp(prosody) with registered users and jitmeet. (but by commenting the two lines users can't login with jitsi, for example, and uncommenting out will prevent jitmeet from running.)

Setting up two virtual hosts in prosody (one with anon login, one with
registered users) is an option.
