In jitsi-meet we have chrome is acting as the controlled agent in ice so it will never go into iceConnectionState = failed.

Can we signal this from the bridge to the focus somehow so the jingle session can be terminated with a connectivity-error?

Protocol-wise I would tend to add a iceconnectionstate attribute to the channel and then set that to failed. For meet this means we have to listen for all iq type=set... mh!

Related to this, we're seeing participants whose (3g) connection drops and who then stay in the muc for a very long time. I'd bet the bridge can tell very early that they timed out, but currently has no way to signal that through colibri @emcho?
