[jitsi-dev] [jitsi-videobridge] Missing remote downstream RTP media (audio/video) - Jitsi-Videobridge BUG ???

#1

Hi Boris Grozev,

With reference to the bundle.md:
https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-videobridge/blob/master/doc/bundle.md

I have captured the debug info for the JVB when running Jitsi-meet, on the
protocol exchanges with the focus agent in jicofo.

The protocol exchanges follow the required specifications as outline in
bundle.md.

However there is a major differences between the above debug log as compared
to the protocol exchanges when JVB is initiated from jitsi clients as focus
agents.

This leads me to conclude that the JVB problem that I observed is actually
lied within jitsi-clients; Jitsi clients JVB handlers are currently out of
sync with the new advancement in JVB protocol requirements.

Regards,

Bundle is optional, jicofo (jitsi-meet) uses it, jitsi clients don't use it. Non-bundle hasn't been actively used or tested in a while.

Boris
