What is the difference between TURN and SSLTCP? As far my understanding goes, both will relay traffic over TCP. Which one is more reliable for network restriction?
Why do you run meet.jit.si with a TURN server rather than SSLTCP?
I was testing JitsiVideoBridge with SSLTCP (Port 443) with a user in a restricted network. However the iceConnection event “connected” never happend. Using a service e.g. appear.in with their TURN server just works fine. Any idea why?
When I block my UDP traffic, SSLTCP works just fine for me. But it looks like some firewalls only work with a TURN-server rather than SSLTCP.
I am really thankful for more insights.
