[jitsi-dev] Jitsi news as RSS

#1

Hey

I just (well, actually last Sunday, but this mail was lost due to the list
server being down) spent a couple of hours fixing our RSS feed for the news
entries. I wonder if it was really necessary to make it this complicated for
the new homepage layout...

Anyway, the new format now is shakier than before. The regex for the
content-split is \(:.*:\). Each news item therefore needs exactly 3 of these
(:begin-something:)content(:endsomething:)-pairs (means: exactly 6
(:something:)). Tables, custom divs, comments and other wiki-syntax that
needs the (::slight_smile: syntax can therefore NOT be used anymore.

Please also follow the other rules mentioned in [1], which still apply.

Thanks very much for doing this Ingo and for writing up the instructions.

Let's make sure we follow them for the next release!
