[jitsi-dev] Jitsi-meet "new"

#1

Hi,

I see a lot of activity on lib-jitsi-meet and jitsi-meet-new, and i'm
curious, should i switch to it or still use master branch?

Thanks
Etienne

Hi,

We are using jitsi-meet-new branch to integrate lib-jitsi-meet in Jitsi
Meet. We are still working on that and we have a lot of issues there. I
would recommend to use the master for production environment for now.

Regards,
Hristo.

OK thanks,
lib-jitsi-meet is a refactor of Jitsi meet to ease the integration into
other products, or more than that?

Hristo.

Hi,

The idea for lib-jitsi-meet is to separate the UI code of Jitsi Meet and
the code for the rtc, signaling, etc. That way using lib-jitsi-meet you can
easily build your own version of Jitsi Meet with custom UI or as you said
integrate it in other products.

Regards,
Hristo.
