[jitsi-dev] Jitsi libraries not in sync with Jicofo code

After cloning latest jitsi commit and jicofo commit , when I am trying to independently make them, the build is successful.

The latest commits from https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi/ and https://github.com/jitsi/jicofo/ were used.

After building Jitsi successfully, when I copy these jitsi sc-bundles to jicofo and again make Jicofo the build gets failed.

Is this expected ? As the jitsi bundles are not in sync with Jicofo source , contributing to jitsi and then copying bundles to Jicofo , the component build is failing.

,

contributing to jitsi and then copying bundles to Jicofo , the component
build is failing.

Log : [root@dhcppc124 jicofo]# ant make
Buildfile: /home/test/Downloads/jitsi_original/jicofo/build.xml

compile:

/home/test/Downloads/jitsi_original/jicofo/src/main/java/org/jitsi/impl/prot
o

col/xmpp/ChatRoomImpl.java:156: error: cannot find symbol
    [javac]
    joinAs(getParentProvider().getAccountID().getAccountDisplayName());
    [javac] ^ [javac]
symbol: method getAccountDisplayName() [javac] location: class
    AccountID

This is related to commit
https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi/commit/a6b61c939bb26dcb984fb22cd0818cb950e9d8
3e. In AccountID the code is unfortunately quite a mess between
get/setDisplayName() (and the now removed get/setAccountDisplayName()) when
accessing the properties ACCOUNT_DISPLAY_NAME vs DISPLAY_NAME. I'm not
familiar with Jicofo, so I don't know what it actually needs.

Hi,

this had been fixed, jicofo is now updated to latest bundles and is
updating them from maven repo.
