[jitsi-dev] [Jitsi-dev] [Help] OTR plugin panel refresh

#1

Hi All,

I'm working on the interoperability of OTR keys between jitsi and other
IM clients . After developping a plugin for Import/export keys, I
reloaded the configuration file with "configurator.reload()" . but I
need to refresh the OtrConfiguratorPanel to take into account the
changes made in the sip-communcator.properties file and display the
imported keys.

How can I do that ?
I need to see the imported key and fingerprints on the

chat configuration form without restarting Jitsi.

All best,

I don't think an explicit reload would be necessary if you make the
modifications through the configuration service. (Modifying the
configuration file directly while Jitsi is running is almost a guarantee to
cause failures.)

I don't think we have an existing API for that. From the top of my head, the
OTR plugin/config-panel would need to listen to property change events and
react accordingly. Would you like to try to implement this in the OTR
plugin? We could then integrate it along with your import/export plugin.
