[jitsi-dev] jitsi crashes on Mac OS 10.5 when a USB audio device is disconnected and connected back

#1

Hi,

I have noticed that there is a pattern that always leads to a crash:

1. Start jitsi.
2. Disconnect the USB audio device.
3. Connect it back.
4. Try making a call.

At this point jitsi always crashes. I haven't got much time to collect any additional info at the moment, but if you are not able to reproduce this in your environment I'll try my best to help.

Best regards,

True. We had actually already noticed this but don't have a ticket for
it. Could you please open one? The problem is related to the way
portaudio handles device indexes. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be
resolving it in the following weeks since we have higher priorities on
the list.

Cheers,
Emil
