[jitsi-dev] Jitsi crashes on connection attempt

#1

Hi,
Jitsi is unusable for me right now. It crashes every time it attempts to
connect to my XMPP-Account.
Running it in a terminal, I get this error message:

/usr/bin/java: symbol lookup error:
/usr/share/jitsi/lib/native/libjunbound.so: undefined symbol: SSL_CTX_free

Using Jitsi 2.2.4603.9615 on Debian Wheezy amd64.

Thanks,
lt

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the library used for DNSSEC
on Linux. You could try installing OpenSSL if you haven't already done so,
try a nightly (we fixed some stuff there), or manually disable DNSSEC:

Remove the line "net.java.sip.communicator.util.dns.DNSSEC_ENABLED=true"
from ~/.jitsi/sip-communicator.properties and delete ~/.jitsi/ .usednsjava.

Using Jitsi 2.2.4603.9615 on Debian Wheezy amd64.

Thanks,
