[jitsi-dev] Jitsi client not connecting on Debian Testing, ArchLinux and Ubuntu (but connecting on Win7 and MacOS with same settings)

#1

Dear All,
currently using latest nightly (2.9.5502) on Win7, MacOS 10.8.5 and
Debian testing.

since several days (and already before the latest update to 5502) Jitsi
on Debian is not connecting with my XMPP accounts using Jit.si and
jabbim.com.
Pidgin on Debian testing with same settings connects normally so I
suspect the problem is on Jitsi client side.

(My friends report similar connection problems with Jitsi client using
ArchLinux and Ubuntu (dont know their versions))

However same accounts (jit.si, jabbim.com) with same settings and in the
same network work as expected with Jitsi client on Win7 and MacOS.

Did somebody observe similar issues? should I send logs?

any help would be appreciated!

kind regards, MS

Please send the logs, but I can't guarantee when I find the time to investigate.
