[jitsi-dev] Jitsi chat taking over window manager on Debian

#1

Hi,

Activity in Jitsi chatroom seems to always take over windows management
on my Debian Wheezy.

When I am working in another application with the chat open in the
background, the window of my current application becomes suddenly
inactive, although it is still on the top, the way windows become
inactive when other windows are open on top of them.

That happens every time there is an activity in the Jitsi window in the
background. If I don't notice it and keep writing, my writing actually
goes to Jitsi chat in the background. This is not only very disturbing,
but also quite 'risky' as I have already sent chunks of emails I am
composing into an unrelated Jitsi Chatroom, without noticing it.

When Jitsi chatroom takes over, my currently active window (on top)
grays out the way application windows do when they are covered by
another window.

Debian Wheezy
Jitsi 2.5.5065

thanks
