[jitsi-dev] Jitsi AppCrash on Exit

#1

Hi All,

I got some problem in Jitsi after installation:
1. first run after installation, the app always crash and ask to relaunch
2. On exit program (File - Quit) the app crash and ask to relaunch

I wonder why there is no one talk about this, is this merely happened to me?
I got the source over SVN -> https://svn.java.net/svn/jitsi~svn/trunk
And for additional information i use jre1.5.0_05 and everytime I run the app from ant build I always get warning: 'includeantruntime' was not set, defaulting to build.sysclasspath=last; set to false for repeatable builds. should i just ignore this?

P.S. Find the crash report below

Thanks/Rgds

Here what I've got from the crash report:

1. first run after installation, the app always crash and ask to relaunch

Please tell us which build or revision number does that.

2. On exit program (File - Quit) the app crash and ask to relaunch

I wonder why there is no one talk about this, is this merely happened to me?

While 1. was reported not long ago (and was supposedly fixed), 2. sounds new. Do you have Microsoft Outlook installed? If you do, which version is it?

I got the source over SVN -> https://svn.java.net/svn/jitsi~svn/trunk

If you got the source over SVN and Jitsi asks you to relaunch, it means that you built a Jitsi setup by yourself, installed it and then ran the installed Jitsi? As mentioned above, please specify which SVN revision you're on.

And for additional information i use jre1.5.0_05 and everytime I run the app from ant build I always get warning: 'includeantruntime' was not set, defaulting to build.sysclasspath=last; set to false for repeatable builds. should i just ignore this?

Yes, please ignore this warning.

Hi Lyubomir,
- As I looked the version is 1.1.0-0.build.by.SVN, is it what you want to kno?
- I dont have microsoft outlook installed, since I installed it in fresh windows 7.
- Im not really sure you meant about build by my self. From build.xml i changed only to match with the tools for create installer (e.g mingw path, wix etc) and added plugins.
Any idea?

Thanks/Rgds

In your case, I was asking about the SVN revision then.

That is what I meant, thank you.

Any idea?

As a workaround, you could delete jmsoutlookaddrbook.dll and see whether the problem persists.

Yeah, I think this is the prob, since then the error on exit not persists anymore.
Still try on other windows computer, since this error intermiten.
