[jitsi-dev] jit meet limitation to machines with video camera

#1

Hi all, why is there a limitation to only allow machines that have a video camera? There are many computers with microphone and many users who’d like to participate in jit meet audio chat and meetups without using video.

Currently Jit Meet does not allow those users.

I do wonder, why that is.

All the best

This never got answered. Are there plans to de-limit this? Audio chat is a major use case, why should users who solder off their video cam be excluded from jit meet?
