[jitsi-dev] Jingle Relay Node at jabber.org

#1

In addition to the Jingle Relay Node at jit.si there seems also now
seems to be one running at jabber.org. I found out using the PSI+
service discovery browser.

Unfortunately the Jitsi logs do not tell me the names of the nodes or to
which account they belong. See below.

Cheers,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Any reason you would like to have that information listed in the Logs?

I would like to have that information available in Jitsi *somewhere*
(especially the availability of Jingle Nodes for an account).

I would prefer to see that in the user interface but did not dare to ask
for that  I also would like to see when a connection uses a Jingle Node.

Cheers,
Andreas

Your last point is very valid, and I already suggested to add a Jingle
Nodes Icon in the call window when Jingle Relay is being used.

Emil, Yana ?

Thiago

Well the logs do tell you whether a relay is active for a particular
account. (But I think you already know this since you've quoted the
information here  )

Yup, agreed. It's on our todo list. (Together with other call info
details such as codec and remote ip addresses).

It should happen at some point in the following months but no ETA yet.

Emil

No, I did not see for which particular account a Jingle Node is
available. I only know because I also have PSI+ installed.

Andreas
