[jitsi-dev] Jigasi NAT traversal

#1

I've dug around and can't seem to find a real definitive answer to these
questions... sorry if they're answered elsewhere.

Does jigasi depend on an external service for NAT traversal?

As an alternative, is there a property that can be set to give jigasi an
external ip to use as it's "advertised ip" in SIP contact/via headers? It
looks like there may be in jitsi, but I don't think that extends to jigasi.

Thanks,
Jacob.

#2

Jigasi as Jitsi is basically latching, so it needs the service to
handle the nat. Jigasi is using jitsi sip protocol, so if anything is
possible to configure through a property in jitsi, it is possible to
configure and in jigasi.
