[jitsi-dev] Jicofo healthchecks

#1

What properties need to be set to enable the healthcheck endpoint on jicofo? Does it use the same property as the videobridge to set the port? I tried messing around with it today but couldn't figure it out.

The healthchecks are always enabled i.e. no explicit setting of
properties is necessary.

Does it use the same property as the videobridge to set the port?

Almost. Jicofo uses the property name prefix org.jitsi.jicofo.auth and
Videobridge uses the property name prefix org.jitsi.videobridge.rest.

From there on, the property names continue the same way: .jetty.port,

.jetty.tls.port, etc. In simpler words, Jicofo will read the property
with name org.jitsi.jicofo.auth.jetty.port to override the default
port value 8888.

I got it working now, thanks! Part of it was needing to expose the port in my Dockerfile (I have it running in a docker container)
