[jitsi-dev] jabber junit tests

#1

I got the following error when trying to connect xmpp server from the test
suite:

     [java] 15:57:16.329 SEVERE:
impl.protocol.jabber.ProtocolProviderServiceJabberImpl.connectUsingSRVRecord
s().843 Error connecting to hermes.jabber.org./208.68.163.221:5222 for
domain:jabber.org serviceName:jabber.org

     [java] SASL authentication DIGEST-MD5 failed: invalid-authzid:

     [java] at
org.jivesoftware.smack.SASLAuthentication.authenticate(SASLAuthentication.ja
va:337)

     [java] at
org.jivesoftware.smack.XMPPConnection.login(XMPPConnection.java:219)

     [java] at
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.jabber.ProtocolProviderServiceJabber
Impl.connectAndLogin(ProtocolProviderServiceJabberImpl.java:1254)

I could connect from the application itself with the same connection
details.

I used the following account properties:

accounts.jabber.account1.USER_ID=ishi@jabber.org

# The server port to be used from account 1

# (Optional)

accounts.jabber.account1.SERVER_PORT=5222

# The password (in plain text) needed to log the user specified in USER_ID

# on the server specified in SERVER_ADDRESS.

accounts.jabber.account1.PASSWORD=xxxxxxxx

# The address of the server that this account belongs to (Use '[', ']' for
IPv6)

accounts.jabber.account1.SERVER_ADDRESS=jabber.org

can somebody help me ?

Hi,

I have no such errors when testing with jabber accounts on my side,
although there are some other errors when running tests with
jabber.org accounts.
You can create accounts on jit.si and run tests using those accounts.

Thank you,

I've replaced the server to jit.si and the tests are running without any
issue.
