Is it possible there is a problem with dependencies? With previous

Can you try apt-get dist-upgrade ? upgrade alone won’t do if there are certain changes in the dependencies. I’m not sure what those could be, but it’s worth a try.

That’s weird. Try to do apt-get install <the list of all jitsi packages> it will fail, but we might be able to pinpoint the problem better.

package currently building for unstable and I will push those to
testing to fix the repo. I suppose it will be fixed in the following

Thanks for your hint. I didn’t find specific prosody update instructions in the hand book, but in the end found something in this post.
Still not sure what happened or why I had to jump the extra hoops with this update, but our Jitsi Meet server is running again.
If your OS is Ubuntu 18.04, you likely had an older version of Prosody (0.10). Since the introduction of the Lobby feature, Jitsi has required an updated Prosody (0.11+).
