[jitsi-dev] Integrating Jitsi Videobridge with WEBRTC

#1

Hi,

I have recently created 4 people video conference using WebRTC ( Mesh
Network), However, adding more number of people into video conference
creates lag and utilizes CPU processes.

While surfing online for the solution I came across Jitsi Videobridge. I
have downloaded the Videobridge API but was unable to find any documents on
how to integrate Videobridge with WEBRTC.

It would be great if you can provide some documentation or demo as how to
integrate Videobridge with WEBRTC or how could I transform mesh network
into relayed/bridge network.

Thanks & Regards,
Hemanshu Belani.

Hi Hemashu,

If I understand your question correctly I think Jitsi-meet is exactly what
you are looking for: https://jitsi.org/Projects/JitsiMeet

Jitsi-meet is a webbased video conferencing tool based on bridged video
with a central server. There is a demo server available on
https://meet.jit.si/

Cheers,

Peter
