[jitsi-dev] IMPORTANT: availability of android client for stable version

#1

Hi Jisti-Meet team,

I am working on android Jitsi-meet and looking for android client, found following FAQ at https://desktop.jitsi.org/Documentation/FAQ,

FAQ: Is there an Android version of Jitsi?
Yes, but it is still in an early alpha stage and further development has been put on hold until further notice. A lot of the user interface is not yet implemented. You can find the apk on the Download page.

Please confirm on priority if an android client is present for the stable version and what all features are support for the android client.

Awaiting response on priority.

Regards,
Pankaj Thamke

It is worth noting that the client advertised by Ajay appears to be
proprietary. It is not a product of Atlassian, nor a product from the Jitsi
team. From a quick scan of their website, it does not appear to be
publishing its source code. That makes its value for development purposes
marginal, at best.

What kind of help do you need -- legal or technical?

What problems are you facing, for example cleaning up license issues
(conflicts?) or do you need a place to host the code?

If it's hosting, you have a lot of options -- bitbucket, github,
gitlab, self-hosted...

Or do you mean you want to contribute it back to Jitsi for Android?
