[jitsi-dev] impl.protocol.sip.SipApplicationData.getApplicationData().96 container is null

#1

If find lots of such pairs of lines in my Jitsi-log:

10:37:52.055 WARNUNG:
impl.protocol.sip.SipApplicationData.getApplicationData().96 container
is null
10:37:52.056 INFO: impl.protocol.sip.SipStackSharing.findTargetFor().939
Will randomly dispatch to "iptel.org:akuckartz@iptel.org" because the
username in the Request-URI is unknown or empty

How can I get rid of them?

Cheers,
Andreas

They mean that we received an incoming SIP message and we didn't know
which of the current accounts it was meant for. A look at your log
archive should provide more specific information.

Why are these messages bothering you? Do you see them going to the wrong
account?

Cheers,
Emil

Those two lines are written in the log every 15 seconds and I really
doubt that anyone is calling then. I do not like to see my logs
cluttered like that when there is no problem.

I did not find any more specific info in the logs.

Cheers,
Andreas

SIP messages can and are sent to you for a variety of reasons other than
incoming calls. A 15 second interval for example is likely to be
related to a keepalive message sent from the server.

I do not like to see my logs
cluttered like that when there is no problem.

Ah, apologies for the inconvenience then.

I did not find any more specific info in the logs.

We can have a look if you'd like to know the exact reason. Just send the
.zip over if interested.

Thanks - that significantly reduces my logs !

(The change was not in build 3508 but is in 3509.)
