[jitsi-dev] ICE failed with Google Talk accounts in Jitsi nightly versions (3607 and possibly newer)

#1

Hello.
I tried Google talk with the recent Jitsi nightly versions and it doesnt work unless the 2 computers have a direct communication (VPN in my case). I use Debian on both computers.
I tried with or without the Google's Jingle option. Same results.
I tested with the 3607 version on both computers, with the same settings.
When the other computer wanted to answer, i got the ICE Failed message on my computer.

The call only worked if both computers were connected to the same VPN server (same class IP's).

This has to be some regression because before the introduction of the Google Jingle version i could make calls without having to be connected to the VPN.
