[jitsi-dev] how to transfer file in jitsi

#1

i have registered the two jitsi clients with openfire (xmpp) server.
i can chat using xmpp server.

But i do know how to transfer file using xmpp server,

can anyone help me from this issue.
.

#2

But i do know how to transfer file using xmpp server,

File transfer is supported over XMPP. Every client program may have different user interface for this, but as we're talking about Jitsi, then see the attached screen shot which shows where to click in order to send a file.

Or you can just drag a file and drop it over your chwt window.

File transfer is supported over XMPP. Every client program may have

different user interface for this, but as we're talking about Jitsi, then
see the attached screen shot which shows where to click in order to send a
file.

Another way to do this is to right click on the contact and select Send

file.

Hey there,

Sending files is only possible in one-to-one chats. You seem to be trying
to send a file in a chat room. This is not something we currently support.

Cheers,
Emil
