[jitsi-dev] GSoC 2013

Did Jitsi not make it this year?

Steve:

Did Jitsi not make it this year?

I do not know. The list of mentoring organisations is *still* not
complete...

Anyway, the Apache Software Foundation is on the list and I am
prepared to mentor if a student is interested in integrating Apache
Stanbol and Jitsi:
http://stanbol.apache.org/
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-1009

Cheers,
Andreas
.

No, unfortunately we weren't selected.

We had some really cool projects though so we are thinking of announcing
them as a list of internships for BlueJimp. We'll see how this goes.

Andreas, what kind of integration do you have in mind? What is the user
experience you are aiming for? Is this about integrating Jitsi or libjitsi
in a webrtc context?

This is a pity. Was hoping to see IRC coming back to Jitsi maybe and there's more than enough to be done. Hmm, the ways of Google are mysterious…

We'll GSoC will be back next year…
