Hi,
I just downloaded code from github, compiled and run Jitsi successfully
with:
$ ant make
$ ant run
But when I close Jitsi all accounts configuration is lost. Maybe there is a
cleanup procedure or a problem saving configuration.
Anyways, I want to generate a .deb file from it, or an executable form of
Jitsi that I could distribute to other people.
But I did not found information to get that done. How can I generate a .deb
or a distributable version of my local build?
Thanks.

Debian.org has a nice section with all the information about creating .deb
packages . You should look there.
Also, someone may already be providing Jitsi through Debian or Ubuntu
ppa/repo , so you can go look at the Debian package configuration there as
a starting point (maybe even use it as it is)
