Hi

I don't think I got a reply to these posts below and would be grateful
if anyone could shed any light on the problem.

I ran into the issue where Jitsi shows all my contacts twice again
after rebooting today, which I haven't seen in a while. Closing and
restarting Jitsi cleared it up but it would be great if this problem
could be solved.

In addition, I noticed today that when my brother turned his PC back
on, the gmail account showed as available (green) but the other two
accounts remained showing Away (Yellow) and then stayed like that
again when he shutdown again.

I've now sent my brother his PC and he has Jitsi setup with gmail,
jabberd.eu and jabber.ccc.de accounts.

When he shuts down his PC, on my Jitsi I see his gmail account changes
to show he's logged off but the other two continue to show him as
available. Even if I close and restart my Jitsi, this doesn't change
but I think I have seen these accounts show as logged off sometimes.

If you search the archives you'll see this issue has been raised before.
Currently users, testers, and developers have not been able to reproduce
consistently.

Finding a series of steps that reproduces the behavior every time is the
best prerequisite to fixing a bug. It means that developers can isolate
the bug, and test whether their changes actually fixed the bug.

If you discover more details, please share.

Thanks David.

Just to be clear, are you referring to the contacts not properly
reflecting logged in/out status or the duplicate contacts issue, or
both?
