[jitsi-dev] feature request (Windows): docking contact list window to side of desktop

#1

Hello,

I have a feature request for Jitsi. Currently my standard instant
messenger is Miranda, whose contact list can be docked to the side of
the desktop, just like the task bar, so that maximized windows won't
hide the contact list. As I want to use Jitsi in future I really miss
this feature.
I already looked for a way to implement this and found a (hopefully)
suitable library:
http://code.google.com/p/jdeskbar/
Do you think it's possible to implement this?

Regards,

Hey Torben,

Yup, it seems to be for swing applications so it looks like it could work.

There doesn't seem to be that much activity on the project (at least not
for the last couple of years) but maybe this is because it just does
what it has to.

Cheers,
Emil
