[jitsi-dev] Feature request: Allow post-connection DTMF during inital number dialing

#1

Hi

(I'm sorry for adding an issue to Jira without discussing, it's purely
an issue with me not reading properly, since I deal with Jira all day
in my normal work.)

http://java.net/jira/browse/JITSI-1020

I've tried to find this feature in the documentation but couldn't.
Basically I'm forever calling into conference calls using the
work-provided conferencing system, but usually it's to one of about 5
regular numbers, so I'm looking for a way to make my life a bit easier.

I'm presuming I'm not the only one that would benefit from a feature
like this, as the X-Lite/Brea forums have had a few topics about this
in the past (with the one I was involved in getting quite 'heated').

I'm going to check out the code and see what I can do for this and the
other issue I created (will post in a moment to discuss), but I'm not
sure if I can do this DTMF one myself (will need to learn the code a
fair bit I expect).

Cheers
Duncan

Thanks for reporting this. We've actually been thinking about this
previously which is why I didn't close your issue. We'll try to look
into it as time permits.

Thanks for the note!
