[jitsi-dev] Error installed jicofo

#1

I tired to do the following

   - apt-get install default-jdk ant
   - git clone https://github.com/jitsi/jicofo.git
   - cd jicofo && ant dist.{os-name}

``
Buildfile: /usr/share/jicofo/build.xml

BUILD FAILED
/usr/share/jicofo/build.xml:54: Problem: failed to create task or type
antlib:org.apache.maven.artifact.ant:dependencies
Cause: The name is undefined.
Action: Check the spelling.
Action: Check that any custom tasks/types have been declared.
Action: Check that any <presetdef>/<macrodef> declarations have taken place.
No types or tasks have been defined in this namespace yet

This appears to be an antlib declaration.
Action: Check that the implementing library exists in one of:
-/usr/share/ant/lib
-/root/.ant/lib
-a directory added on the command line with the -lib argument

Total time: 1 second

I know i can run it mnaully which seems to work

mvn -U clean package -DskipTests -Dassembly.skipAssembly=false

but then the next line of the docs do not relate

cd dist/{os-name}'./jicofo.sh --domain=jitsi.example.com
--secret=YOURSECRET2 --user_domain=auth.jitsi.example.com
--user_name=focus --user_password=YOURSECRET3

Any help would me much appreciated

I saw you already got it to work with ant, but you could also use just maven:
mvn install -Dassembly.skipAssembly=false

Hi Adam,

That error indicates that you need an additional Ant library, a library
that integrates with Maven.

To download that library, execute this:

$ mvn dependency:get -DartifactId=maven-ant-tasks
-DgroupId=org.apache.maven -Dversion=2.1.3

Then, you should be able to re-run ant, providing a reference to that
library that you just downloaded in your local maven repo:

$ ant -lib ~/.m2/repository/org/apache/maven/maven-ant-tasks/2.1.3
your-ant-target

Hope this helps!
