[jitsi-dev] Dropdown with country codes for outgoing phone calls

#1

Hi Jitsi team!

I am observing in the testing branch the incorporation of a dropdown
with country codes for outgoing phone calls. But this dropdown is shown
empty in Chromium 57.0.2987.98 and Firefox ESR 45.9.0.

I would like to know if this is a bug or if is needed to set up
somewhere the countries codes to be display in the listing.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi,

Hi, Damian.

Have you tried this:
http://lists.jitsi.org/pipermail/users/2017-June/013147.html ?

Thanks for the reference. I see that I was missing add dialOutCodesUrl
in the config.js and create the file with the codes. After that, the
list was displayed correctly.

Now I have a question: the dialed number is <country code> + phone
number? My question points to how can we proceed if we need to dial a
prefix so that the PBX send the call as something external through a SIP
provider?

Thanks for your time.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi,

Add that to the dialpan in the pbx, in jigasi user dialplan. There is now
such option in meet and dialplan make sense to be managed on the pbx.
