[jitsi-dev] Disconnects/No reconnect

#1

Hey

Apparently some changes to the reconnect-plugin don't perform as they were
intended, Jitsi doesn't sign-on after standby anymore or disconnect when a
VPN tunnel is closed. I don't remember the build# when this started, I guess
about a week or so.
I'd investigate it myself, but I don't have any time left currently... :frowning:

Ingo

Hi Ingo,

strange is there was no significant change there recently. And the
exception you see "Timer already cancelled." can only happen when the
plugin has been stopped. And if the timer is stopped and the plugin it
will not reconnect. We must check why the plugin has been stopped?

Hey

I just noticed that Jitsi currently has 325 Threads. Around 280 of them
Timer threads that are idling. This is after roughly 7 hours after a fresh
OS/Jitsi start.

Skimming through the logs, I had this idea: One of my SIP accounts is
currently unreachable and therefore exceptions are thrown. Maybe this causes
the Reconnect-Plugin to go mad and fail completely.

Ingo
