[jitsi-dev] Disable the OTR Plugin

#1

Hi,

I'm doing a customization in Jitsi to use internally in our company, and
with that we are restricting some options for the user.

However, we are not able to disable the OTR Plugin (for private messages).

We create properties in the "resources\config\defaults.properties" but did
not work, keeps appearing in the "Chat" window the "Secure Chat" menu.

Properties we created:
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.otr.otrchatconfig.DISABLED=true
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.otr.DISABLED=true

Hi,

these properties are configuration properties (from configuration service),
they need to be in the local configuration file, or just to be provisioned
using the provisioning service which will place them in local configuration
file.
Or you can create jitsi-default-overrides.properties in lib folder and put
the property there.
Hope this helps
