[jitsi-dev] Desktop sharing is not working in chrome, chromium, nightly firefox, opera

#1

Hi, Screen sharing part is not working in all browsers from localhost. So could you give me any solution for that?
Thanks for your concern in advance.

Hi, for Chrome you need https and a properly configured jidesha
extension. Desktop sharing does not work in FF atm. Not sure about opera
though, I've never tested it there.

Are there plans to bring screensharing to FF?

Is there any existing ticket or issue on GitHub which one could track?

No, and as long as support in Firefox is not available, please don't open one. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=923225

Yes, Hristo is currently working on it. Please open a ticket and we will
update it once it is completed.
