[jitsi-dev] deb packages

#1

Hi,

Just wondering which jitsi .deb file I want to download, the one marked
'latest' or the one with the most 'advanced' file name, which I assume is
also the 'latest'. What's the difference? I'm confused.

Thanks,

One is a symlink so that downloading jitsi_2.2-latest_amd64.deb will always get you the latest version. Handy for websites, or mirror code.

Hello Phil,

jitsi_2.2-latest_i386.deb is a symlink to jitsi_2.2.4603.9615-1_i386.deb
jitsi_2.2-latest_amd64.deb is a symlink to jitsi_2.2.4603.9615-1_amd64.deb

So, practically, you'd be getting the same thing.
