[jitsi-dev] Database implementation for IM history?

#1

Does Jitsi have a version of the HistoryService that uses an SQL database
instead of XML files?

I see nothing in the source, otherwise I wouldn't be posting here. I found
this implementation in the archives but I guess this never got completed
and merged into master?

Any info here to save me writing my own version from scratch would be much
appreciated.

Thanks for any help.

No, the config service is the only implementation that can optionally use an hsqldb. The source files mentioned in that gsoc project should still be around at java.net so could start your work based on that.
