[jitsi-dev] Create and send DialIQ

#1

Hi,

You may have seen me posting in the user mailing list but I will try my luck here as well. I'm trying to hack Jicofo so that when a conference is created, a SIP call is automatically started as well. I was hoping that someone could explain to me how this process works. I have tried using https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi/blob/master/src/net/java/sip/communicator/impl/protocol/jabber/extensions/rayo/RayoIqProvider.java#L393 without success. If I could see an example of how a SIP call is started I am sure I could work it out myself afterwards. Problem is that I cannot find this piece of code anywhere in the Jitsi repository.

Best regards,

Hi,

The call is started in the client:
https://github.com/jitsi/lib-jitsi-meet/blob/365bd886ee9de81f5d9bd731a57e3b75ab0e766f/modules/xmpp/ChatRoom.js#L1278.
If you just want to see the RayoIq, open a conference, start a call to
jigasi/dial and then from the jsconsole execute
APP.conference.saveLogs(), you will get all the xmpp messages that
were exchanged between the client and the xmpp server. The DialIq goes
from the client to the xmpp server and is addressed to jicofo, where
it handles it.
