[jitsi-dev] coordinating calls through one point

#1

Hello,

In my small company we have people in different countries, EU, Japan, ....

We want to use a VOIP ,
and coordinating calls through one point.

Example :
Person A, B, C, etc is living abroad, each in another country.
We take person A.

When person A (of our company) wants to call (landline, mobile) a colleague B, customer X,
supplier Y, etc, he calls the phone/smartphone/iPhone number of the other person B,X,Y
who is listed on the VOIP phone number list.

We would like that A,B, C´s call goes through one point, controlled by our head office.
Person A activates the VOIP application, dails the number of the needed person B,X,Y that
he finds on the list.
Not that A (or B,C,D) needs to setup his - independent - local VOIP application.

What do you advise us ?

Kind regards
Pierre MAES

Use a telephony server like Asterisk and connect Jitsi to it. On the server you can set up routes so that calls to a specific country use a local VoIP service provider.
