[jitsi-dev] Chat window doesn't scroll

#1

Hi,

my chat window for a Jabber contact got into a state where when I send a message the text scrolls up to the beginning and stays there. An incoming response doesn't change this - I would have to scroll down manually. Only restarting Jitsi would solve the problem until it comes back.

I cannot exactly say which event would trigger this kind of behaviour - maybe I myself scrolled up for reference or the other side disconnected and came back, or my side changed the outside IP due to DSL disconnect.

Has anyone else seen this?

Conrad

Yup, I've also noticed this.

Yepp, once. And I definitely scrolled up for reference before it began.

Hey Conrad,

I've also noticed that! Could you please create an issue for this one?

Thanks!

Hi all,

I've committed a fix for this one in revision 9359. Could you please give it a try and see if you still experience the issue?

Thanks!

I'm using build 3903 and still seeing the problem. Is there an easy way to correlate build number to SVN revision number? I'm not sure if this build would include your fixes or not.

Thanks,
Aaron

Other than watching the cruisecontrol-Mailinglist, I'm not aware of
something easy.
But you can always take a look at the release notes, e.g. on
http://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/nightly/windows/updates/index.html

Thanks,
