[jitsi-dev] Chat error on Jitsi Meet

#1

Hello,

I'm testing the latest stable version of Jitsi Meet and I noticed a problem concerning the chat panel on the UI.

Sometimes (almost half of the time) when I refresh the page I can't see neither what other participants send nor what I send to them (but they can see it). I get the following errors in the JS Console:

Hi,

Hello Damian,
thanks for the reply

This was fixed(https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/pull/1609) in
latest builds available in testing and unstable. This will be
available on next stable update.

I tried to add unreadMsgElement in the condition in jitsi-meet/libs/app.bundle.min.map file but I still have the same error (I don't know if it's the right method to modify it).

do you know when this modification will be available for the stable version?

Regards,
Hamza

I'd be extremely glad if you could provide me with the download link. Because the only stable version I can see on https://download.jitsi.org/stable/ was published on 2017-05-24

Hi,

This had not been pushed to stable yet. You can use the versions from unstable.
There are few issues we are waiting before pushing to stable, there
are few FF issues and a dial-out UI.
