[jitsi-dev] Camera problems of Jitsi Video Bridge with over 3 people connection

#1

Dear Team,

Right now I'm using 3 server. Server 1 I install Jitsi-meet, Server 2 I
installed Prosody and Jicofo and Nginx, Server 3 I installed
Jitsi-video-bridge. The config of jitis-meet is everyone turn off their
camera when join conference.

Step 1: 3 people join same new conference, all camera is turn off.
Step 2: 1 person turn on the camera to show it to 2 people left.

The problem is 2 people left always have problem with the camera, it
warning: Fellow Jitsi is having connection issued. If one of 2 left people
turn the camera, the problem is sovled.

If all 3 people open camera, the problem is solved. But right now I want
only 1 people can show the camera.

Right now, I'm using jtisi-meet 2519, Jicofo 2519 and jvb v930

How can I fix this bug, thank you so much.

In my experience the problem of 'fellow user has bandwidth issue' is not linked with number of people, its with if any person is having an issue.

This problems shows up more on iOS , I have never witnessed on Android.

Though I use VideoMeet app to do that not jitsi app..

Thanks

For more information, the log of Jitsi bridge is: A PropertyChangeListener
threw and exception while handling a PropertyChangeEvent.

Is your bridge running on a machine with public address or it is behind
nat, if it is the second have you forwarded the ports to that machine?
Also looking at the screenshot (please paste or upload logs somwhere, do
not send them as screenshots) your bridge is not using bundle and port
10000 for udp connections. Maybe there is something using that port at the
time you open jvb and start using it.
