I posted it already (subject was: Jitsi on a netbook - options windows too big and not scalable), but got no reply from devs. I would like to see it on the bugtracker.
The problem is that the options windows cannot be resized and important buttons etc. are below the bottom line and not reachable. This causes problems on smaller screens (netbooks) - At least on my Samsung NB30 with Kubuntu 10.04.
I would suggest that all windows should be resizable and that the controls on the options windows should be arranged more side by side instead of on top of each other. This would accommodate small screens better as the problem is usually not the width but the height of the screen.

Agreed. Please open an issue for this.

Hey Yana, do you think we could add an option somewhere that allows us
to make the config resizable, so that people would have at least some
way of working around this issue?
Of course, proper small screen friendliness would require more thought
and work but it'll be a start.
Cheers,
Emil

Of course. Good idea! I'm putting it in my todo list and will try to make it asap.

Yana, thanks for taking this on. I already tried to file it as a feature request on java.net, but the system seems to be very slow and sometimes unresponsive. All my attempts to submit the request failed with java.net timing out with a blank page.
cheers, Mark

The options resizable request is now entered as JITSI-957.
