[jitsi-dev] Attempt to locally run jitsi-meet web application fails: "#include virtual" in index.html

#1

Hi,

I'm trying to locally run the jitsi-meet web application (within my
local web server). Basically I've cloned the project, run "npm
install" on it and then "make".

The issue is simple: "Uncaught ReferenceError: config is not defined".
And it seems to happen because the index.html file has some stuff that
obviously hasn't been built:

···

---------------------------------
<script><!--#include virtual="/config.js" --></script><!-- adapt to
your needs, i.e. set hosts and bosh path -->

<!--#include virtual="connection_optimization/connection_optimization.html" -->

<script><!--#include virtual="/interface_config.js" --></script>
<script><!--#include virtual="/logging_config.js" --></script>
---------------------------------

Do I miss something? It's clear to me that some build script should
replace those "#include virtual" with the appropriate script location.

Thanks a lot.

Ok, it seems that I must run it with webpack-dev-server.
