Hi,

I've just added "send logs" option to main menu. It should allow you
to send the logs by email, so that we can further investigate the
problem. You can send them on my address: pawel.domas@jitsi.org.

Pawel

Hi,

I'm testing the application for android Jitsi.

After installing, I try to set up my account, but it is always offline.

If I try to see the "Account Status" when I select my account always gives
me the following error:

"An error occurred while setting the status: The provider must be signed on
the Jabber Service before being able to communicate."

Can you help me?

Thanks

If you're asking about libjitsi, that would be
org.jitsi.service.neomedia (the implementations of which are in
org.jitsi.impl.neomedia).

Hi, Dev!

I try use Jitsi with webcam splitting software.
Jitsi don't see virtual webcam, created with SplitCam software and crashing with ManyCam software.

Platform: Windows 7 x64
Webcam: Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920

We have not worked on explicitly supporting virtual webcams. What
formats does it report as supported? You may want to provide your logs
as described at https://jitsi.org/Documentation/FAQ#logs.

Hi guys,

Just want to add a thought on the issue, JItsi does this for images as well, so should that not be added as a problem to the same ticket?
To me it seems like the same security leak -- the content being visited automatically.

Thanks,
Nick

Good point! An alternative would be to just make the preview loads
over https. We'd need to think about it.

Could you please open a ticket?

Thanks,
Emil

It depents if you want to deploy your own service solution or just use
other providers. If you won't provide at least STUN server then it
will probably work only on LAN, as STUN is used to discover your
"world" addresses that are triggered for check during ICE
negotiations. I recommend you to search net what ICE is all about and
what STUN and TURN servers are for. TURN are used when all other ways
fails so it is nice thing to have if you want to guarantee that your
service will work. I'm not sure, but Jingle nodes are some kind of
TURN service and they work with XMPP services.

If you just want to use Jitsi with some other providers it should work
with default settings, as there are some default STUN servers provided
and Jingle Nodes discovery. Use the settings to add your own
additional servers.

Pawel
