If by Chromebox you mean the ChromeOS desktop device, yes, it should work properly, as long as you’ve got a compatible webcam. Most webcams should work fine with it - it’s just using a Linux kernel.
Jitsi works fine with Chromebooks.

I don’t think that’s currently compatible with Jitsi. That’s a streaming stick device, not a Chromebox. They’re not a general browser platform.
When you said Chromebox, I thought you were talking about one of these:
