Jitsi Base docker failed to build

Hi. I’m trying to build Jitsi Base using docker-jitsi-meet/base/Dockerfile. The only change I am doing is updating to Debian bookworm.

I used logs while building and can see that usr/bin does have apt-dpkg-wrap, but later down in docker build, I get the following error.

Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d…
done.
/bin/sh: 1: apt-dpkg-wrap: not found
The command ‘/bin/sh -c case ${TARGETPLATFORM} in “linux/amd64”) TPL_ARCH=amd64 ;; “linux/arm64”) TPL_ARCH=arm64 ;; esac && case ${TARGETPLATFORM} in “linux/amd64”) S6_ARCH=amd64 ;; “linux/arm64”) S6_ARCH=aarch64 ;; esac && apt-dpkg-wrap apt-get update && apt-dpkg-wrap apt-get install -y apt-transport-https apt-utils ca-certificates gnupg wget && wget -qO /usr/bin/tpl https://github.com/jitsi/tpl/releases/download/v1.0.4/tpl-linux-${TPL_ARCH} && wget -qO - https://github.com/just-containers/s6-overlay/releases/download/v1.22.1.0/s6-overlay-${S6_ARCH}.tar.gz | tar xfz - -C / && wget -qO - https://download.jitsi.org/jitsi-key.gpg.key | gpg --dearmour > /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/jitsi.gpg && echo “deb https://download.jitsi.org $JITSI_RELEASE/” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jitsi.list && echo “deb Index of /debian bookworm-backports main” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/backports.list && apt-dpkg-wrap apt-get update && apt-dpkg-wrap apt-get dist-upgrade -y && apt-cleanup && chmod +x /usr/bin/tpl’ returned a non-zero code: 127

Any idea what is happening here? Following an old answer, I checked the apt-dpkg-wrap file and all the lines end with ‘$’. Can’t seem to figure out the problem.

Are you using the makefile, so all the env variables are properly set?

I’m using the dockerfile and yes, env vars are set. Found the issue. It happens when I use Debian bookworm instead of Debian bullseye. No issue with bullseye
